  1. Day 1 Welcome to Cilento

     

    • Transfer with a private bus from the airport to the hotel in Agropoli a charming town on the Cilento Coast known for its picturesque old town, medieval castle, and stunning views of the coastline

  2. Day 2 Hiking Tremonti Canyon (Cilento National Park)

     

     

    • After breakfast, you will visit the nearby ancient Greek city of Paestum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its well-preserved majestic Doric temples.
    • Mozzarella factory and tasting of buffalo mozzarella
    • Picnic lunch
    • Transfer to a nearby village in Cilento National Park to hike through the Tremonti Canyon, reaching the village of Trentinara, known as the ”Terrace of Cilento” for its panoramic views. The hike is of medium difficulty (approx. 5 km), and features a 30-meter-high waterfall and breathtaking views.
    • Free time in Agropoli
    • Dinner at a restaurant with an amazing sea view
  3. Day 3 Hiking the Palinuro Trail on Cilento Coast

     

     

     

    • After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to the hotel in the small town of Palinuro on the Cilento Coast
    • After check-in, we will start hiking directly from the hotel
    • Today’s hike is part of the iconic Mediterraneo Trail, one of the most stunning trails in Southern Italy. The hike, a loop of moderate difficulty (approx. 6 km), features ancient Saracen watchtowers, and spectacular views from sea cliffs.

  4. Day 4 Hiking the Infreschi Trail on Cilento Coast

    • Breakfast
    • Today’s hike starts from the beach of Marina di Camerota, a beautiful village on the Cilento Coast. The trail, part of the iconic Mediterraneo Trail, features Mediterranean scrub, hidden coves, sea caves, and ancient watchtowers. The trail is of easy/moderate difficulty (approx. 7 km) but rewards you with unspoiled nature, spectacular landscapes, and opportunities for swimming in pristine waters.

    • Boat trip back to Marina di Camerota
    • Free time
    • Transfer to a fascinating abandoned medieval village with the ruins of an ancient fortress, narrow stone alleys, and breathtaking panoramic views. This village exudes a mysterious and timeless charm.
    • A dinner featuring local food and wine at a traditional restaurant
  5. Day 5 Hiking the Masseta Trail on Cilento Coast

     

     

    • After breakfast, you will be transferred to the charming village of Scario to hike the final trail of the trip: the Masseta Trail, part of the iconic Mediterraneo Trail. Today’s hike is a challenging loop (approximately 10 km) in one of the most spectacular and wildest natural landscapes of the Mediterranean. The trail features breathtaking coastal views, wild beaches, lush nature, and ancient mule tracks once used by fishermen and shepherds. The spectacular landscapes and opportunities to swim in pristine waters make the effort well worth it.
